Propolis is a sticky substance collected by bees from buds, flowers , and tree bark and mixed with certain glandular secretions.

Propolis is composed of more than 300 different substances, mainly wax, resin, essential oils and pollen. But it also contains a significant amount of flavones. Propolis is used by bees to disinfect the hive, to fill cracks and openings (and also to insulate), as propolis has a significant bactericidal and germ-repelling effect.

It can be used externally to treat burn and frostbite wounds, difficult-to-heal wounds, skin and mucous membrane inflammations, fungal and bacterial skin infections, cuts and abrasions, as well as inflammations and joint pain. All this is possible due to its strong skin healing, analgesic and bactericidal effect. It has a destructive effect on various bacteria. It neutralizes certain poisons, has a regenerative effect. It is a painkiller three times better than cocaine and five times better than novocaine.

Its internal use is also very diverse. It has been successful in treating upper respiratory tract diseases, duodenal ulcers, gastritis, colitis, urinary tract infections, and inflammation of the parotid gland and prostate. Regular consumption can maintain the body's resistance at a high level. It has a blood pressure regulating and vasodilating effect.

When you have a sore throat or cold, gargling with warm water with the tincture several times a day will relieve the symptoms.

It is most often used in tincture form, but due to its alcohol content, regular consumption is not recommended for those under the age of 14.

However, propolis honey can be given to children regularly, and their consumption is manifested in the prevention of diseases.

It is highly recommended for sore throats and pharyngitis. It cures these symptoms more effectively than any medicine, even when consumed with 1-2 tablespoons per day.
